Markie Post was born in the United States and is an acclaimed actor. She's played in the roles of Christine Sullivan the public defender in NBCs Night Court, Terri Michaels as the bail bondwoman Terri as part of ABCs The Fall Guy drama series and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman the sitcom Hearts Afire by CBS. She's appeared on several other series apart from acting. She is the daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two other brothers within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. She was a student at Pomona College for a short period of time, and later was graduated at Lewis & Clark College, Oregon. In a private note, Post was once was married to Stephen Knox. In 1982 she was married to writer/actor Michael A. Ross with whom her two kids. Post's character as a wife and mother as well as actress has been admired by many Hollywood famous people. Early credits for Post's acting include an episode from 1979 of Barnaby Jones the first episode Simon & Simon Details at Elevenin Episode one in 1981 of season two of The Greatest American Hero two episodes of The A-Team as two different characters in The Only Church in Townin 1983 as well as Hot Stylesin 1984 and The Love Boat. She also appeared on The Fall Guy, an ABC action-drama The Fall Guy after appearing in the science fiction series Buck Rogers during the Twenty-First Century and as Diane Chambers' best friend in the sitcom Cheers.
