Katherine Heigl reveals her experiences within a "white bubble" has impacted the way that she raised her family of multiracial origins. She revealed in an interview recently that, when it comes to skin colour, it doesn't really matter. After speaking with her sister, who was adopted from South Korea she realized just the way society views them. Meg was asked whether she was treated differently when they were out together with their parents, and the time they were on their own. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" That made me realize that I was so ignorant," Heigl said to parents. She confessed that she was angry however she was also aware of that she had to channel this anger to help her daughters. Heigl and her 13-year-old husband -- the musician Josh Kelley -- have four-year-old son Joshua Bishop Kelley, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. and then Adalaide aged 8 who is now young and Black in 2012.
