One baby was strapped on my back, while another crawled around in the playground. I worked 12 hour days over months of sanding, and stripping wallpaper while carrying one kid. Ha! The look was a little like the following... This is the place where my passion for the restoration of antique furniture began. Even after our house was furnished I couldn't quit! There was a spot at the local markets that I could sell my items. Eventually, I had too lots of pieces to keep in the room available. My house was transformed into a space in which I held open houses where up 1000 people would be able to view items from my first floor before purchasing them. That's how my company Growing Days was born. Growing Days was not only an extremely successful company, it was also my sweet family. Soon I had multiple clients, and had as a home improvement business. It would have probably amused me if you told me this was going to be the subject of a DIY Network tv series. Actually I still kind of smile when I think about the idea.
